Weedingtech has announced the launch of its new Foamstream L10H hybrid unit, the smallest, lightest and most affordable machine in its range yet. The L10H aims to further improve access to effective, eco-friendly weed control as the demand for herbicide alternatives continues to rise.
The L10H is designed for the convenient transportation and application of the Foamstream weed control solution. The treatment, comprised of hot water and biodegradable insulating foam, flows from the unit and lance to cover weeds and maintain the necessary temperatures for an effective kill. The organic foam is made using plant oils and sugars, making it safe for use around people, animals and delicate ecosystems.
The Foamstream L10H boasts a flow rate of 10 litres per minute and is capable of treating up to 350m per hour, with reduced noise, fuel use and water consumption than its predecessors.
The hybrid unit can be powered via standard wall plug or mobile battery, reducing reliance on petrol. The adaptable machine also offers dual water supply options, allowing a direct connection to a garden hose or drawing from the water tank.
With a hose length of 20 metres, and additional hose of 60 metres, the L10H can be used for both precise application and effective medium-scale treatment of outdoor spaces. It also doubles up as a powerful outdoor cleaning and pressure washing tool, helping users keep spaces safe, clean and fit for use.
The launch of the L10H comes as evidence continues to surface around the carcinogenic potential of herbicides, and public opposition to the use of chemical weed killers grows. A growing number of local authorities have already moved to ban pesticide use, increasing demand for viable and effective weed control alternatives.
